Each year the “Peaceworker” placement programme will send in two young friends or attender to West Africa for a one-year placement. We intend to recruit UK-based ‘peaceworkers’ (age: 18-25) and send them to work alongside peace organisations for 12 months (September – August) with a dual purpose: to support the host organisation, and to learn and benefit from the experience personally. Most peaceworkers have some valid work experience already, but are at an early stage in their careers, and their time with QPNWA is intended to launch them into the peace world.
