Micro-finance, youth, marginalised and less privileged in conflict situation

QPNWA is conducting thorough research on how microfinance and enterprise development programs can assist youth either affected by armed conflict or susceptible to engagement in conflict. The project is to examine youth in urban settings that share some of the common characteristics found in war zones. In this way, the research seeks to apply the lessons learned from work with at-risk urban youth to address the needs of youth in regions affected by conflict (or potential conflict). This will enable a broader approach that will provide youth with a viable source of income outside warmongering.
